ABOUT
Stanzin started rZamba to empower communities and public schools, co-creating and sustaining educational initiatives to ensure better life chances for children in Kargil. They continue their intensive engagement throughout the rough abrogation of article 370 in the erstwhile J&K with communities and schools forging collaborations with Village educational committees, the Department of School Education, and LAHDC. Nikhil aims to address strong discriminatory beliefs regarding the innate learning abilities of children from underserved communities in Sonbhadra, particularly among Dalit, Bahujan, and Adivasi groups. Through a two-year Fellowship model, he will establish schools as effective learning and discourse centers. Surrender noticed the growing apathy among his peers regarding the education crisis in India and decided to make a difference. His organization, Self Reliant India, aims to bridge gaps across barriers such as race and socio-economic status. They believe in delivering quality education through community participation and ownership. The Fellowship program also prepares children for admission into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and other entrance examinations.

ABOUT
Vardhishnu’s initiative, Anandghar (A Home of Happiness), creates a supportive learning ecosystem for street children, particularly child waste-pickers and child laborers. Fellows work within Community Learning Centres, serving as a bridge between the children, their parents, and the schools. The focus is on fostering small, positive behavioral and emotional changes through education, ultimately helping these children transition smoothly into mainstream schools.

Happy Horizons Trust was founded by the husband-wife duo Kshitiz Anand and Vatsala to address the literacy challenges in Bihar.
