In the first stage, we identify and recruit education Entrepreneurs from across India

> We provide pre-incubation support to help them prepare for the selection process

> Entrepreneurs undergo a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation based on defined competencies and our Unifying Principles.

> Those selected formally commit to joining TFIx, with the goal of launching a Fellowship program aligned with our core values and vision.

Part 1: Incubation Year Support

TFIx Entrepreneurs receive training, direct support, and leadership development as part of the one-year incubation that enables them to successfully launch a min 2 year teaching Fellowship program as part of their organization and/or community.

Part 2: Post- Incubation Support

TFIx Entrepreneurs receive continued support to sustain and strengthen their Fellowships through the completion of one full Fellowship cycle. This includes personalised one-on-one coaching, peer learning spaces, and on-ground site visits.

Stage 3

TFIx Entrepreneurs who successfully launch Fellowships and demonstrate a promising ability to sustain and strengthen them over time become, transition to this stage. They maintain alignment with TFIx’s Unifying Principles, demonstrate increasing impact numbers, improved outcomes, and commit to be a lifelong part of the greater TFIx community as an official ‘partner’ to move towards the larger vision.

Do you believe in our shared vision and work towards safe, excellent, equitable education for India's vulnerable children?

OUR SUPPORT STRUCTURES

Once every quarter TFIx team, the cohort of Entrepreneurs, and Teach For India Veterans come together for a week at one of TFIx Entrepreneur's sites.

We celebrate each other's achievements, learn from each other and develop all the technical skills needed to run the Fellowship program successfully.

As a part of the Fundraising Strategy, we conduct webinars with experts in the field to hone our Entrepreneurs' skills in Fundraising. We also organize Community of Practice (COP) webinars which Entrepreneurs lead. In COPs, Entrepreneurs solve their problems together.

Courses are additional resources for Entrepreneurs to build depth in understanding of different components of a Fellowship.

TFIx Program Partners are mentors with an in-depth understanding of Teach for India's Fellowship Model.

They provide differentiated support for designing the Fellowship and work with each Entrepreneur towards their Leadership Development.

They visit each Entrepreneur's site once every quarter, i.e., 4-5 times a year.

Our network of domain experts and leaders in Teach For India, as well as TFIx, guide Entrepreneurs on organizational development, Fellowship foundation, etc.

Entrepreneurs get to experience and draw inspiration from Teach For India and TFIx Entrepreneur Partners' models by visiting their sites twice in the incubation year. This helps Entrepreneurs deepen their understanding of contextual Fellowships, org structures, and support systems required to run a successful Fellowship program in their region.

We believe in shared learning and deep engagement. Teach For India has built experience running a Teaching Fellowship Model in urban areas for 12 years. Over this period, we have created vast resources and networks backed by Teach for All that can be utilized to support Entrepreneurs in their journey.

How is TFIx different from Teach For India?

Teach For India runs a 2-year Fellowship program that transforms you as you teach. They place Fellows as full-time teachers, for 2 years, in government or low-income private schools. Their Fellows transform the life paths of children in their classroom and in turn, transform themselves towards leadership in educational equity. Teach For India is running a teaching Fellowship program in 8 urban cities across the country.

TFIx is Teach For India's growth model. TFIx was started to reach children in regions where TFI was not present. We are an Incubator, and we partner with Entrepreneurs who are running their organisations/Projects in the field of education. We enable you to strengthen and scale your organization's model. We do this by working with you to launch a 2-year contextualized Teaching Fellowship (similar to Teach For India's Fellowship) in your region. The idea is to build local leaders at the grassroots level and to empower your entire community/region through Education.

What kind of program support is offered by TFIx?

We provide two kinds of support to our Entrepreneurs - common and differentiated.

Common support includes Learning Circles, Webinars, Site Visits, Fundraising Opportunities, and other Resources and opportunities we share with Entrepreneurs to support them in their journey. Differentiated support is provided by professional coaches who work closely and one-on-one with every Entrepreneur. They are called the Program Partners. Your Program Partner or Coach will help you build an in-depth understanding of Teach For India's Fellowship model. They will also help you design the Fellowship program according to your context. Program Partners or Coaches visit every Entrepreneur's site at least once every quarter, i.e., 4-5 times a year.

This is towards building and sustaining a strong Fellowship program and being a part of the larger community of Entrepreneurs.

TFIx Incubation Program is hybrid. How much support is provided in-person vs. Virtual?

Our Incubation Program provides 40-45 days of in-person support to Entrepreneurs through in-person Learning Circles and Site Visits. The rest of the support is provided virtually through Webinars, Community of Practice spaces, Fundraising Opportunities, and other Resources and Opportunities

that we share with you to support you in your journeys.
